Da Ma Cai terminology: ABC vs A
On a Da Ma Cai bet slip, prize coverage is marked as either ABC or A instead of Big or Small. ABC represents the Big bet, covering all 23 winning positions: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize, 10 Starter prizes, and 10 Consolation prizes.
The "A" selection represents the Small bet, covering only the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize positions with higher prize payouts. Note that Da Ma Cai calls its secondary prize tier "Starter" rather than "Special".

A Roll bet allows you to fix three digits and roll the remaining digit through 0 to 9 (generating 10 individual 4-digit numbers). For example, rolling the first digit of R234 enters 0234, 1234, 2234... through 9234 for 10 times the base stake.
Claiming Da Ma Cai prizes and statutory validity
Prizes can be claimed at any authorized Da Ma Cai outlet up to the agency payout limit. High-tier prizes exceeding outlet limits must be claimed at Da Ma Cai Regional Offices or Head Office with valid identification (NRIC or passport) and the unlaminated original ticket.
Da Ma Cai tickets are valid for claims within 180 days from the official draw date. Winnings in Malaysia are completely exempt from personal income tax under LHDN regulations.
