# How Magnum 4D Works: Results, Draw Days, and Ticket Basics

Magnum 4D is Malaysia’s pioneer licensed 4D operator, having introduced 4-digit gaming to the country in 1969. Its classic 4D game remains a staple of the Malaysian lottery landscape.

Understanding Magnum’s draw schedule, board structure, ticket types, and claim procedures ensures you check your results safely and claim any winnings without complication.

## Magnum draw schedule and special draws

Magnum conducts regular draws three days a week: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. In addition, the Malaysian Ministry of Finance periodically approves Tuesday Special Draws throughout the year.

Draws take place in the evening, with official results finalized around 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM MYT. Tickets can be purchased for a single upcoming draw or for multiple advance draws. Always verify the printed draw date and draw ID on your ticket.

- Regular draw days: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Special draws: Selected Tuesdays authorized by the Ministry of Finance.
- Result finalization: Evenings around 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM MYT.

## Magnum result board and product lineup

The standard Magnum 4D Classic board displays 23 winning numbers: 1st Prize, 2nd Prize, 3rd Prize, 10 Special prizes, and 10 Consolation prizes. Magnum offers Big bets (covering all 23 prizes) and Small bets (covering Top 3 only).

In addition to 4D Classic Straight and Box play, Magnum provides mBox (their version of iBOX shared-stake permutations), 4D Jackpot, 4D Jackpot Gold, and Magnum Life. Ensure you check your ticket against the exact game product printed on it.

## Ticket validation, statutory claims, and protecting your winnings

To claim a prize, your original physical ticket must be intact, legible, and unlaminated. Magnum tickets are printed on heat-sensitive thermal paper—exposing them to heat, lamination, or moisture can ruin the barcode and security markings.

Under Malaysian law, winning tickets must be claimed within 180 days from the draw date, and all winnings are 100% exempt from personal income tax. Small prizes can be redeemed in cash at any authorized Magnum agency, while large prizes are claimed at Regional Offices or Head Office with your original MyKad or Passport. Magnum strongly warns against third-party ticket scams—never purchase winning tickets from strangers.
